If you go to Century Park in Shanghai and do not run, it is like going to cinema for popcorn and not watching a movie. This beautiful park is located in Pudong. Pudong is the most developed place in Shanghai. It is similar to Nariman Point in Mumbai but incorrect to compare as this place is well planned and one can notice lot of greenery around. Coming back to Century Park, it is a 140 acre park. It is the largest ecological park in Shanghai currently and it is designed by the British. The literature says it is a  modern Chinese park which integrates oriental and occidental cultures. It consists of large lawns, forests and lakes. It has a big lake, known as natural reservoir, located in the middle of the park. When you visit this park, you will find you are in midst of plenty of trees, colorful flowers, large lawns, blue water under blue sky & nothing between you and nature. There are sky creepers around the park in the near vicinity to remind you are in 21^st century. If you imagine these buildings as bars, they make a good corporate powerpoint presentation. The color of the flower arrangements is well synchronized. You can notice a pattern. Every minute thing is well planned in this place. One can safely say it is a five star park.
